Operating Season: Mid-December to late March each year, with excellent snow conditions during the prime powder season.
Access: About 30 minutes by car from central Asahikawa, 60 minutes from Asahikawa Airport, and around 90 minutes from Sapporo. Direct reservation buses are also available, making access convenient.

As one of the largest ski resorts in northern Hokkaido, Kamui remains relatively uncrowded due to limited nearby lodging. On weekdays or right after fresh snowfall, visitors can often enjoy untouched runs all to themselves.
Lift tickets are reasonably priced, making the overall value outstanding.
From the summit gondola, skiers can take in panoramic views of the Ishikari Plain, the Asahikawa Basin, and even the distant Sea of Japan. On clear days, the vivid “Kamui Blue” sky and frost-covered forests create breathtaking scenery.
At the summit, Mt. 751 Café serves Italian dishes, pizza, and ramen—all enjoyed with spectacular views.
